Controls and Upgrade

In order to offer our partners a complete solution, we can conduct additional tests on what is ordered. Whether you need non-destructive tests, chemical analyses or destructive tests, we can help you.

On request, we can also write an ITP or a LOFC, covering some tests or analyses, for you to obtain a 3.2 certificate or an upgrading of the parts.

In Practice

non-destructive testing

On request, we perform all necessary non-destructive tests, according to your procedures or ours :

• Visual and dimensional inspection
• Dye penetrant testing - PT
• Radiographic testing of welds - RT
• Ultrasonic testing - UT
• Magnetic testing (on carbon steel only) - MT

destructive testing

Over time we have developed partnerships with some ISO17025 certified laboratories to have all destructive tests performed: tensile test, charpy test, flattening test, intergranular corrosion test, micrography... 

Upgrading

By combining different types of testing, we can perform qualifications: either in order to obtain a 3.2 certificate, or according to a special procedure. 

As part of our nuclear qualification, we upgrade materials in accordance with paragraph NCA-3855.5 of the ASME III division 1 Code.
